RadioFM Pro Terms of Service
Terms for using the RadioFM Pro directory, map, browser player, favorites, account features, and third-party radio streams.
Last updated: 2026-07-19
Agreement and service description
These Terms of Service govern your use of RadioFM Pro. By accessing or using the site, directory, map, player, account, favorites, transfer, or support features, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. Additional laws or broadcaster terms may apply where you live or when you open a third-party site.
RadioFM Pro is a discovery directory and browser player for public radio streams. It synchronizes station metadata primarily from the community-maintained Radio Browser directory and uses GeoNames for recognizable place matching. The catalogue can include a station name, stream endpoint, homepage, tags, language, codec, bitrate, and approximate location. RadioFM Pro does not produce, schedule, edit, endorse, or guarantee the programmes supplied by broadcasters.
Availability and catalogue limits
A health check means a stream responded during a recent directory or catalogue check; it does not guarantee that the stream will work now, remain continuously available, play in every browser, or be accessible in every country. Broadcasters can change endpoints, formats, schedules, advertising, access rules, or availability without notice. Network conditions, certificate failures, redirects, regional controls, browser support, and origin-server outages can interrupt playback.
Locations and tags are directory metadata, not verified facts about a studio, transmitter, coverage area, format, ownership, or audience. Search results, featured lists, and related stations use catalogue signals for discovery; they are not official charts, editorial awards, audience figures, or paid endorsements. Verify important station details through an official broadcaster source when available.
Third-party streams, websites, and rights
Audio is delivered by third-party broadcasters or their providers. RadioFM Pro may use a same-origin compatibility proxy to request a public stream, rewrite an HLS playlist, or handle browser compatibility. The proxy cannot repair an offline server, bypass a legitimate restriction, grant rights that do not exist, or guarantee that a stream is authorized in your location.
Broadcaster websites and streams can contain advertising, tracking, subscriptions, age restrictions, or other content controlled by third parties. Their terms and privacy notices apply to your interaction with them. Check the destination before following an external link and use your own judgment about the content you access.
Rights holders or broadcasters may report an inaccurate record, obsolete stream, misleading identity, or other concern through the RadioFM Pro contact page. Include the relevant page URL, the issue, your relationship to the station when applicable, and a source that can be checked. RadioFM Pro may correct, limit, or remove a record while a report is reviewed, but does not promise a particular result or response time.
Accounts, local preferences, and transfer codes
Basic discovery and playback do not require an account. Favorites, player volume, and appearance choices can be stored in the current browser. Clearing browser data or changing devices can remove local state. You are responsible for keeping any account credentials, verification links, sessions, and short-lived favorites transfer codes secure.
You must provide accurate information when creating an account or contacting support. You are responsible for activity conducted through your credentials. Notify RadioFM Pro promptly if you believe an account or active transfer code has been misused. We may limit or suspend access needed to investigate a security incident or breach of these terms.
Acceptable use
You may use RadioFM Pro for lawful personal discovery and listening. You must not:
- break applicable law or infringe intellectual-property, privacy, publicity, or other rights;
- attempt to bypass access controls, geographic restrictions, authentication, signatures, rate limits, or stream protections;
- probe, scrape, overload, disrupt, reverse engineer, or automate the service in a way that harms availability or ignores published controls;
- submit malware, deceptive links, fabricated station facts, impersonation claims, spam, or abusive support content;
- use directory metadata to misrepresent a station, its ownership, audience, endorsement, location, coverage, or programme schedule;
- obtain or expose another person's account, private settings, favorites, location, or transfer code without authorization; or
- resell or frame the service in a way that falsely implies a partnership with RadioFM Pro or a broadcaster.
Reasonable search-engine crawling of indexable public pages is permitted subject to robots directives and normal service protections. Query combinations, private utility pages, and thin dynamic records can be excluded from indexing to preserve catalogue quality and system resources.
Corrections, feedback, and user submissions
When you send a correction or support request, you confirm that the information is accurate to the best of your knowledge and that you have the right to provide it. You grant RadioFM Pro permission to use the submission to investigate, reproduce, and correct the reported issue. Do not submit confidential information, passwords, payment-card data, or personal information unrelated to the request.
RadioFM Pro may compare a submission with current directory records and an available official source. Claims that cannot be verified may be declined or omitted. A correction to directory metadata does not transfer ownership, establish an official relationship, or guarantee future availability.
Intellectual property
RadioFM Pro's original interface, code, branding, and editorial text are protected by applicable intellectual-property law. Public station facts can come from third-party directories under their applicable terms, while station names, logos, programmes, streams, and websites remain subject to the rights of their respective owners. These terms do not grant you ownership of RadioFM Pro, the catalogue system, or third-party content.
If you believe material on RadioFM Pro infringes your rights, send a specific notice through the contact page. Identify the protected work, the page or stream at issue, the requested action, and a reliable way to reach you. False or incomplete reports can delay review.
Changes, suspension, and termination
RadioFM Pro may add, change, suspend, or discontinue a feature, record, account, proxy route, or the service when needed for maintenance, security, legal compliance, catalogue quality, provider changes, or product development. We may restrict access after suspected abuse or a material breach. You may stop using the service at any time and can request account-related action through the contact page.
Material revisions are shown by the updated date above. Continued use after a revision takes effect means you accept the revised terms. If a change is unacceptable, stop using the service.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
RadioFM Pro is provided on an “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. We do not warrant uninterrupted playback, perfect metadata, suitability for a particular purpose, or continued access to any third-party stream. Nothing here excludes a warranty or right that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, RadioFM Pro and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss arising from unavailable streams, third-party content, directory errors, device or network issues, unauthorized account use, or reliance on unverified metadata. Any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded remains limited only as permitted by applicable law.
Privacy, severability, and contact
The Privacy Policy explains information handling. If one part of these terms is held unenforceable, the remaining parts continue to apply. A failure to enforce a provision immediately is not a waiver of it. Questions about these terms or a catalogue record can be sent through the RadioFM Pro contact page.
