Geography is a filter, not a coverage claim
Radio stations by country with clear location limits

Use country as the first geographic boundary
A country filter is useful when the broadcaster market or language context matters but the city is unknown. It reduces a global catalogue without pretending that every record is physically near the listener. Add a station name, genre, or language after the country when the result set remains broad.
Country metadata can be maintained by broadcasters or directory contributors. It may describe a service identity rather than a verified transmitter or studio address. RadioFM Pro keeps uncertain city data unset and avoids converting missing coordinates into a precise-looking map point.
Compare national, local, and online-only services
A country page can contain national networks, local outlets, community services, broadcaster simulcasts, and internet-native stations. Similar branding does not make those records equivalent. Check the homepage, language, tags, codec, and stable station identifier before saving a result.
For local news or emergency information, verify the broadcaster and current service area on an official source. For music discovery, country can be a cultural clue, but tags and programme identity usually matter more than geographic precision.
Continue to a narrower listening path
Move to a curated country page when available, search a city with a station name, or switch to a genre when programming is the primary goal. Avoid assuming that the first or most-clicked record represents the country as a whole.
If a stream fails, compare another station within the same country and report the broken record. Catalogue counts and availability change as public sources update, so visible synchronization dates provide better context than permanent totals in editorial copy.
Editorial method
Country pages use source country codes and only expose city relationships when coordinates or names pass the location confidence rules.
